PRIMARY TEACHER - Start date: SEPTEMBER 2025 (1 YEAR FIXED TERM)

Salary: Teacher Main Scale

Contract: 1.0 FTE – Fixed term 31/08/2026

Start date: 1st September 2025

  • a good understanding of the science of teaching,

If you are successfully shortlisted, we would like to visit you in your current school setting to observe you teach at a time to be arranged.

 

Interviews will take place week commencing 16th June 2025, where you will be asked to complete a short task and be interviewed by a group of children, followed by a formal interview.

CLEANER - Start date: ASAP

12.5 hours per week

Term time plus 2 weeks (Summer Holiday)

Fixed term until 31/08/2026

Harvills Hawthorn Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly dedicated Cleaner to support the site team. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, efficient Cleaner to work as part of the cleaning team. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given. This is a great opportunity to work with forward thinking staff and be part of a passionate enthusiastic team.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) clearance is required for this role.

 

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children’s Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post

 

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
