Family Hub
Our school has been designated as a Sandwell Family Hubs Spoke in March 2024. This means that a range of family services will now be available right on your doorstep! These services are available to anyone within the community and are not exclusive to families of children who attend the school.
Family Hubs are designed to provide the right help, in the right place, at the right time for families in Sandwell with children aged 0 – 19 (or 25 with SEND). Additionally, extra support is available for families during pregnancy and in your baby’s first years.

This website offers valuable information and support through the following pathways:
- Expectant parents
- New parents (0-1 years)
- Families with toddlers (1-3 years)

As many of you are aware, Michelle Hellend is our Family Worker who is available Monday to Thursday on site. Michelle supports many of our families with a range of issues so feel free to call the Family Support Office on 0121 5571034, option 2, or email family.hub@harvillshawthorn.co.uk
